Within this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for implementing environmental compliance, including working with various departments on anticipated and actual legislation developments, capturing, collating and monitoring information for business units and project managing the implementation of any development projects where necessary.
You will be mainly responsible for:
- Identifying the impact of local legislation for both the wider business group and the individual business units;
- Supporting and advising on impacts of legislation and any required implementation for specific business units for compliance purposes;
- Developing and communicating with others a plan to implement legislation in the organization;
- Supporting sales by developing communication pieces and sales tools around the enhanced legislation.
You will continually influencing, interpreting and understanding EU and international environmental legislation to ensure its implementation across all EMEA markets. As this is a very visible role, it is vital that the successful candidate has excellent communication and presentation skills, high standards for accuracy and the ability to apply both strategic and analytical thinking.
Ideally, you will have experience within an international organisation in an environmental project management role. You will have strong business acumen, with a good grasp on legislative impact and the ability to deliver implementation plans to ensure legal compliance.
