Within this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for implementing environmental compliance, including working with various departments on anticipated and actual legislation developments, capturing, collating and monitoring information for business units and project managing the implementation of any development projects where necessary.

You will be mainly responsible for:

• Identifying the impact of local legislation for both the wider business group and the individual business units;
• Supporting and advising on impacts of legislation and any required implementation for specific business units for compliance purposes;
• Developing and communicating with others a plan to implement legislation in the organization;

You will continually influencing, interpreting and understanding EU and international environmental legislation to ensure its implementation across all EMEA markets. In addition to a relevant degree, you will have experience working within energy efficiency or sustainability consulting. You will be a registered BREEAM assessor (ideally commercial and bespoke) and/or LEED qualified.

The individual will have:

• Extensive experience in the delivery of bespoke management systems achieving compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
• A lead auditor qualification in at least one of the above, preferably Quality
• Experience in managerial review and restructure
• Led diverse project teams internationally
• Experience in change management and supply chain consultancy
• Strong business development skills

This is a Senior position within the team. The Client requires an individual who can hit the ground running with proven project management experience. They will also be required to help support and mentor more junior members of the team, however, they will not be required to line manage.
